About
Earth Art Studio is an eco-minded, off-the-grid ceramic studio created by sculptor Jenni Ward. It includes a small gallery, gift shop and a sprawling sculpture garden – all of which are in a constant state of evolving. Located in Las Playitas, just north of the quaint ‘pueblo magico’ Todos Santos, this remote and scenic desert location offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra Laguna Mountain range. Visitors are offered the opportunity to take in the quiet of the desert and find where art & nature meet.
The studio has works-in-progess where visitors can learn about the inspiration and process of sculpting with clay from owner and artist Jenni Ward. The gallery and gift shop offers books, stickers, wearables and a variety of small sculptural works. The sculpture garden is a self-guided trail that winds from the studio, down into the arroyo and loops back up through the desert into our labyrinth, with a variety of sculptures created by local artists that become a part of the landscape. Every visit to Earth Art Studio promises to be unique with new works to view and new corners to explore.

The Team
Jenni Ward
Jenni is the owner and artist behind Earth Art Studio. It is her working studio space where she also offers workshops, lead tours, hosts events and curates exhibitions. She created the sculpture garden to give visitors the unique opportunity to walk through the desert, explore the flora up-close and to be inspired by the sculptures. Her ceramic sculptures and installations are showcased throughout.
Nate Ward
Nate is our self-dubbed ‘facilities manager’, he singlehandedly, keeps the studio and property fully operational, He is our in-house welder, carpenter, plumber, art installer, event greeter and much more. If Jenni thinks up a clever idea, Nate is the one to engineer it into existence. Check out our studio gates for an example of his talents.
Artists
Our artists are the heart of everything that happens here at Earth Art Studio. Since opening in 2025, we have hosted over 20 artists at our annual group exhibitions, as well as through events and workshops. Earth Art Studio is a place where artists can experiment, create and share their work with the public. Want to be creative with us?
Instructors
Earth Art Studio workshops are taught by a variety of local artists and makers that have a passion for what they do and sharing it with others. From printmaking to embroidery to weaving to glass etching, we love learning new skills from talented instructors. If you’d like to pitch a workshop to teach here, message us!
